Snow, City Clerk, to Austin Melvin, two parcels -- W 1/2 of Lot 8 and the E 1/3 of Lot 7, Blk.9, Original Town Quincy, for $81.10, "being the amount of Taxes, interest & costs due..for the year 1842 on said parcel of land for making sidewalks." Refers to Cert. of Puchase dated May 23, 1842. |
